As of Monday, June 10, 2019, new filers seeking access to EDGAR will be directed to an updated online version of the Form ID EDGAR access application.
The updated online version of Form ID will provide applicants with enhanced user functions, which should facilitate applicants’ ability to save, complete, and upload the required notarized Form ID authentication document. With the introduction of these enhanced user functions, the courtesy pdf copy of Form ID available on sec.gov will no longer be needed and will be removed.
All new filers must complete the application using the updated online version of Form ID, which will be accessible via a hyperlink from the sec.gov page as of June 10, 2019. Old versions of the courtesy pdf copy of Form ID will not be accepted as an authentication document after June 7, 2019.
