The beta environment of EDGAR is available until March 25, 2022, for use by registrants in connection with the change announced by SEC to the EDGAR registrants' websites that will affect how third-party software communicates with those websites. The SEC plans to apply the change on or about April 4, 2022.

As SEC announced on February 10, 2022, EDGAR will create a unique parameter that some third-party software products must provide with each request that enters or updates information. EDGAR will verify the existence of the requester and validate the parameter in requester requests, terminating user sessions if the value of the parameter is missing or does not match.
